    • Luckily, many Labradoodle puppies for sale inherit the lovable personality and sociability of the Labrador and are therefore fairly good with other dogs. You need to introduce your existing dog to the new Labradoodle for sale in a neutral location, such as at the dog breeder’s place or at an unfamiliar park. Make sure that the Labradoodle puppies and your dog are both on leads and allow them to meet.

    • Talk to both of the animals but pay more attention to your dog rather than the Labradoodle puppies. Make sure you talk in a positive tone and make the experience enjoyable for your dog so that he associates the puppy with good things. Once your dog has greeted the Labradoodle for sale, give them both a treat.

    • Being positive is the most important part of the meeting between Labradoodle puppies and your dog. Remain positive even if your dog growls at the Labradoodle for sale, as your dog is most likely setting a boundary. If your dog’s body language changes to be more aggressive or the growling continues, interrupt the introduction.

    • Make sure that any Labradoodles and your dog ride in separate cars on the way home, if this is not possible, crate the puppy. Make sure the senior dog enters your house first when you get back.

    • For the first few weeks of having Labradoodle puppies in your new house, make sure you monitor all interaction as it is very likely that the Labradoodle for sale will irritate your senior dog. Growling and snarling (within reason) is good behaviour as it helps to socialise Labradoodle puppies. Make sure you stop, but don’t punish and aggressive behaviour from your existing dog.

    • It is best that Labradoodle puppies and existing dogs have their own space to retreat to. Make sure that the Labradoodle for sale gets given somewhere that the existing dog has little attachment to so that nothing changes too much for the dog.

    • Make sure that any rituals and behaviours you and yourexisting dog have are not changed but try and include the Labradoodles in themas well. Your existing dog has to feel that he hasn’t lost any standing withinthe family.
