When you buy a dog youshould be aware that you will have to have a pet friendly house. Making yourhome a safe dog house is not difficult it just takes some thought. This articlewill give you some advice on how to make your home a pet friendly house.

    Make a Dog Friendly House

    • Electrical cables should always be out of reach or enclosed so that your dog can’t chew them.
    • Any ornaments you have should be kept on a table high enough out of reach from your dog or wagging tails.
    • If you have a fire in your home whether it is electric or an open fire you should have a fireguard that will keep your dog at a safe distance away.
    • If your dog chews the post then you can fit a grate onto the back of the door so that it catches the post before your dog can eat it.
    • You can use stair gates to keep your dog out of rooms which are off limits.
    • Always tidy up your plates to avoid your dog eating any rubbish or unwanted foods.
    • Keep the toilet lid down so that your dog can’t drink any of the chemicals from the toilet. Learn more about house training your dog.
