Although they are smaller than the dogs other beds, the dogs still choose to use them, in preference to any others (the GSD 10 month old Puppy fits his perfectly) the other adult GSD dogs end up with tail and feet off, but still prefer them for additional snuggle and comfort. The covers have washed well without retaining any sign of dirty muddy feet, they have thick padding which is why I think the oldest dog of 8 prefers them, and so far the padding has not moved, puckered or become uneven in the under cover. A problem I have experienced before in bigger and more expensive beds- so a big thank you, my dogs love them even on an unforgiving kitchen floor and I think they are exceptional value for money and show no wear and tear, despite my puppy ragging his every so often.
