Chow Chow Breed Guide

Chow Chow Breed Guide

The Chow Chow is a good -natured, well-mannered, independent dog. Its height reaches up to 50 cm, and is a resistant breed.

The Chow Chow originates from China, where in some areas his meat is a popular delicacy. Today, the only purpose of the breed is being its owner's pet. Previously, however, this was not the case. Because of its good sense of smell and his endurance in China, it was used as a hunting dog. Its sad eyes, lion-like body and short nose give him a very likeable look.

His most common colours are black, red, and white. It makes an excellent companion. This breed satisfies every wish of his owner.
