Chiwawa for Sale: Buying Advice
Chiwawa puppies are increasingly popular choices of pet dogs. The chiwawa dog is naturally a very small breed and has not been bred to be that way like some others. When looking for chiwawas for sale, you will notice that there are two different types of Chihuahua: the long haired, and the short haired. See the following guide to the chiwawa dog if you are considering chiwawas for sale.
When fully grown, Chihuahuas weigh between 3 and 7 pounds and reach up to 8 inches tall. Chiwawa puppies have a round head and their ears stay erect for most of the time. Their ears relax slightly when they are calm. Chiwawa dog eyes are large and round and are probably their most recognisable feature.
Chiwawa dog bodies are longer than they are tall, with males having slightly shorter bodies than females. The front legs are straight and short, and the back legs are more muscular. Their feet are tiny and dainty.
Short-haired Chihuahuas are normally sandy, blonde, chestnut, black, or tan coloured. Other rare varieties come in other different colours.
Chihuahuas are extremely emotional dogs. They expect plenty of attention, but will also give their owner the highest affection. They are very loyal dogs, and sometimes this loyalty can turn to jealousy. If another person, particularly small children, takes the owner’s attention away from a chiwawa dog, they can expect to be snapped at by the little dog. It takes them a lot of time to trust other people, and this could cause problems for some owners.
These dogs are very excitable and must be trained in order to stop them from barking too much. You should only consider chiwawas for sale if you are willing to put in a great deal of time and effort to keeping the breed happy. If you do not you may not like the consequences.
That is not to say that chiwawa puppies should be ruled out. Despite their quirks, they can be a very rewarding pet to have. The love and affection they give their owners is probably unmatched by other dog breeds. Owning such a dog definitely depends on individual circumstances.
